Not to mention the fact that Microsoft announced that only Internet Explorer would be given access to the Windows APIs for Windows on ARM. Meaning many users and companies who want the freedom of choice when it comes to browsers will definitely flock to the Intel-based devices.

I think people are thinking about this to much.
At this point in the tablet circus. Windows 8 needs to officially come out!!!
Half the people in my office are happy running Windows 8 CP running on Dell latitude ST tablets, and the 7 Series tablets. and it's not even out yet. and we are all happy.
Come out with Windows 8... put it on ARM and shut the hell up.
