I used to rack my brain trying to figure out why people want to announce online (which as we know is announcing to the whole world) every single action of their day, in some cases down to the details of bodily functions that typically isn't considered 'dinner table conversation'. I have given up trying to figure it out, as it would drive one insane to try to figure it out. But this brings a new spin on the question for me. Why is it that it is so important to share the precise location and which foot lands every time they take a step, but they want to have a way to do it automatically? Are they really that lazy that they can't even open a voice to text app and speak what they would like to post? I used to actually like facebook, but for one all the adult children from myspace migrated over and made it more annoying than interesting, and for two the evolution of the acronym TMI into NEI (Not Enough Information) is beyond disgusting. Do you really have to pause a conversation just to pull out your phone and 'like' something? And 'check in' wherever you go? Seriously, facebook has become the entire life of alot of people, for whom which I am saddened. facebook could be a nice site if people would act their age on there and know the difference between what should be a comment and a message. If you want everyone to know what movie you're watching, type out the words "I am watching" followed by the name of the movie, and quit crying because some stupid 'app' won't do it automatically for you!
