I actually think this is a great idea. What's the point in even having a Facebook page or profile if 12-16% of your Friends or fans actually see what you share? It should be possible to do something about that, especially if you're a business. I just hope that if Facebook does this, they give you a way of knowing how many of your friends or followers, as a percentage, saw your post, for the $2 or $4 (or whatever they decide) you spent.

If you really need to get a message to someone(s), send a MESSAGE. This is just one more incentive to spammers to hack Facebook accounts. I'm closing my account tomorrow.

Facebuck. Their greed will ultimately ruin the site. It's just a matter of time before everyone becomes annoyed and moves on to something else. I feel confident when I say Facebook is "terminal."
