Hi,
I have a Lenovo SB500 that will not shut down everytime when I click "Turn off Computer". Sometimes it will, sometimes not. I've even tried
using the "ReStart" option and the same thing happens.
I have Windows XP professional.
Thank you
Rusty

Hi. When you click to Shut off Computer, does it leave the desktop and go to the blue screen that says Shutting Down ?

Yes,it goes thru the shut down process until it gets to the charcoal black screen. Almost like when it hibernates or pauses. It' doesn't go
completely black, and the cursor still works

To answer your question, NO, it will go thru the shut down proceedure, but when it get to the end, it won't go completely black.
And the mouse still works. The color of the screen is charcoal black.
Thanks for responding.
