Unfortunately, the Best Buy I pre-ordered it at (and many others) are not doing a midnight release. Since I am buying the Collector's Edition and Blizzard isn't selling that on their site I will be unable to download the client or even pick my copy up until 10am. 
This waiting is too hard! I'm never going to be able to sleep tonight, it's like a Christmas I've been lookign forward to for 12 years.

What about the rumors of the switch to PS3 and X-BOX? Is there a release date for those platforms set yet?

Still just rumors. Blizzard has dropped hints about being interested in console development but haven't even officially said that they're working on a port.

1 hour after the midnight release and still can't log in because the servers are busy.....whats the point in midnight releases if the servers are busy until the next day?

Very good question. Seems their customers have been asking that same question so much they killed their forums too.

I want to download Diablo III from Blizzard, but the system requirements havce confused me - my video card is a GeForce GT220 - is that good enough please?

Yep, don't expect highest quality settings, but it will work.

lol I ran out bought the game thought that i could play single player LOL - i dont have a broad ban connect. LOL screwed because the store wont take it back LOL
