Does anyone really have a mother who wants a tech goodie for Mother's Day? Aren't the card/flowers/dinner combination still valid? My mom always said that was great for her. They just need to be remembered for all they do.

I bet my mom would love an iPod, or a new Palm. I don't think that flowers and other traditional gifts are invalid, just that tech gifts are no longer just the domain of Father's day.

I agree that Father's day or dad/guys are thought of as the usual consumer target for electronics,I just can't think of why a mom would want this. Just my HO thats all...

Some of the best gifts may not require any technical knowhow on the recipient's part, just a little on yours. My mom may not be a digital shutterbug, but she loves getting baby pictures in all forms, such as the jigsaw puzzles from Kodak Gallery.
