Don't get the shares while they're hot. Right now the masses will be flocking to get a piece of FB driving the price up, but once the euphoria settles down the true value of the company will be revealed. The truth is Facebook ads are worthless. Nobody ever looks at them, and nobody ever clicks on them. I just talked to someone who was trying to promote a book. He found it cost him over $100 in ads to sell one book. Moreover, as you increase your ad spending, people get used to the ads and just ignore them. So, your already low click-through rate plummets even further. FB is just a fad, half of America thinks so.

Who writes this piece of crap? All these numbers are way out of whack, something it must have been written by some idiotic Facebook anti-fan with absolutelly no idea of he/she is saying. 900 bilion users! Do you know how many people exist on the planet? And Facebook make a lot of $ on ads, that's their revenew source, not your personal data like Google does. Stupid stupid stupid. Still, I don't like Facebook either.

I can't wait to see Facebook go BUSTO. They're capricious, arrogant, unfriendly, and about as private as sex in a public bathroom. I'm amazed to see everyone thinking that there will be some sort of profit here, which there won't. I'm reminded of all the .coms that flopped in the late 90's and am puzzled by what makes FB any different.

I have all of those pointless ads blocked with Firefox add-ons so I'll just keep enjoying a nice ad-free FB experience while they pointlessly collect all the info they want. I personally couldn't care less what information is being collected. If you're on the internet, you're info is being collected no matter what site you're on.

One of the few joys in life? Knowing that I'm not a FB loser. This article just makes it easier for the rest of you to walk away. Once you start, perhaps we'll see fewer and fewer asking you to sign in through FB first.

WHEN are US the users going to get paid? I mean, its our information that is making everybody rich. From Google, to FB, Yahoo, etc., etc.

There needs to be some kind of legistlation about selling a users info without some kind of kickback to them. Its not like FB cant afford to. Or Google for that matter. Why do they get to get away with this? Seriously, this has always bugged the crapola out of me.

The ad agencies and hackers love people like you. You don't care what info they collect until you get your identity stolen, among other things. And your not tracked everywhere you go unless you happen to use places like FB and GoOgle. I have several anti-tracking/spying devices on my system and have many "tweaks" to prevent this type of thing. Where I've been and where I'm going is no-ones business but mine, and I take offense to anyone tracking or spying on me.....
