You keep using ONLY the top four carriers. What do you have against U. S. Cellular and others?

The only best choice for me is the unlocked phone with a SIM card. Mostly Nokia phones.

Fyi, the Verizon nexus is now $200. It's also available for $400 unlocked directly from Google. (Note: the unlocked one is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile, even though Tmo doesn't officially offer that phone. In fact, I'm seriously considering getting an unlocked nexus and using it with the $30/month tmo prepaid plan.)

How about an article with the best "basic phones" for those of us who aren't obsessed with useless applications that run faster, better and larger on a computer?

I couldn't agree more. I use my desktop computer for data and other things. Why do I want to share my personal information via wireless. So, if my simple, no frills cell phone finally goes bad, I'd like to replace it woth a simple no-frills phone. Is there anything wrong with that?

From Every Carrier? You haven't included the highest rated cell company, US Cellular. Misleading article. Poor
