I wanna download some new music but my ipod’s running out of space. I really don’t wanna delete any single song, how can i backup them to my computer? They said I can copy the songs to anywhere on pc but that didn’t work at all, when ipod was pluged in there was no music(only some pictures) shown on the computer! I know there must be one solution, anyone know how ?

Well if you bought those songs on iTunes I think it’s easy to get them back, because they should be linked to your account so you can download them for free again.
But if those music on your ipod are from other computers via itunes, you may not transfer them from ipod to pc because itunes can only transfer these fiels from itunes to your ipod touch. In that case you will need some other tools to do that. Google iPod Transfer and maybe you can find something useful.

There are several solutions you could use, depending upon your level of expertise, etc.

1. Is there a reason you don't sync your iPod with your iTunes on your PC/Mac? That's the obvious solution.

2. I'm not in front of my Mac right now, but when you plug in, if you drop into the terminal, you can find your iPod under the /Volumes directory. If you navigate through the folders, you can find your music and copy it to your computer manually. iTunes renames the songs on your iPod, but it leaves the same extensions (.mp3, .aac, etc.). Once you've found the directory you're looking for, you can use the power of UNIX to find and copy your stuff in one command. Something like... $ find . -name "*.mp3" -exec cp {} "new destination" \; whereby "new destination is where you want to copy the music to (without the quotes). Do the command again to pickup the .aac files, etc.

3. If the technical solutions scare you, try a commercial app that's designed to do just that. There is an app called "senuti" (iTunes spelled backwards) that's designed to pull your music from your iPod to your computer.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I was also going to suggest you invest in an external hard drive or some cloud storage so you don't bog your computer down with all those files.

iCloud and iTunes can back up most data on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Backed-up information includes purchased music, TV shows apps, and books ; photos and video in the Camera Roll; device settings (for example, Phone Favorites, Wallpaper, and Mail, Contacts, Calendar accounts); app data; Home screen and app organization; Messages (iMessage, SMS, and MMS), ringtones, and more. Media files synced from your computer aren’t backed up, but can be restored by syncing with iTunes.

You can backup your iPad through iTunes, then you can restore from backup.

Right click your device in iTunes and there will be a backup option
