Help! How To Achieve Editorial Photography Effect?

Hi, I really love the effect on these photos. can someone enlighten me on how to achieve this effect? thank you!

It might have been done by increasing the contrast on the picture. Also, in many programs (paint.net, photoshop, etc) you can click and select something and everything that looks similar to it, and then adjust that.

First, your image will have to be of a very good quality. I believe she didn't used much effects on this photos and I also believe some basic program could be used to do this. First they used some color balance (magenta color), they added little contrast and finally desaturated the image a bit. Can't give you the exact settings, because it depends of the image you want to edit. :)

Oh and I forgot to mention, they also did some skin smoothing.
