I have a 64 bit Windows 7 machine with 4 meg of RAM. My desktop Icons(including shortcuts) are not displaying proper icon. I go to change Icon and reselect my desired icon click apply, click OK, click You need administrator permission (I am the only user).
Is there a registry key to increase the Shell icon size like exists in Windows XP?

So the icons are wrong? See this: http://www.sevenforu...he-rebuild.html
If you want to change the size of the icons, right-click the desktop, View, and large/medium/small icons. (you can also hold the control key while scrolling at the desktop, which will give you finer control over the size of the icons)
And also, 4MB RAM, really?
