Also I know HP and Dell Are not the Best manufactures because they do make the most in the Computer Business. But I have a dell and its fine for me and my friend has an HP

I'm a bit reluctant to recommend Dell based on past experiences, but it is a faster machine than the HP (and I should note that the Dell that I had a bad experience with was a very low-end model). That said, you're paying quite a bit more for that, so it's hard to decide.

Both seem decent enough. You'll pay less on the warranty if you go with the one from Newegg.

I wouldn't bother with an extended warranty - it seems like once it gets past the bathtub curve (the first few months), it's fine for several years.

On a refurb, I would definitely pick up an extended warranty, even if just for a year or two.
And the Dell is considerably more powerful, easily the better gaming machine. Understand the difference in video cards is a wash really, the difference in power is strictly in the processor. The i5 will destroy the AMD chip.

Well, I really love HP and despise Dell but I agree with these guys -- the Dell is much more powerful.

AS between HP and Dell, I'll go for Dell. HP is good but when ti comes to heavy duty worksand gamings, it is not.Dell has good heavy duty/gaming laptops, the xp's. AS to the build quality, dell is better than HP. Acutally, I have an HP pavilion G, it lagss most of the time. Compare also the specs, check this link to help you guide in choosing your laptop. http://www.techyv.com/sites/default/files/resize/users/Pratu%20Santr/ACiBudgetLaptop15000-150x125.jpg
