I subscribed to red-cipher product called crimson512 quad core 3.0 for encryption of files. The program was billed on a per use
basis. I have no certificate or source code and the company web site www.red-cipher.com is non-responsive. If company gone
any ideas on decrypting encrypted files?

Yes. these were not life or death files. The reason I'm posting is to see if a solution exhists
not to see how many birds wish to restate the obvious???

Hi, Scott, and welcome to the forums.

I've never used, or even heard of, that program. Is there nothing in the program that says "decrypt?" When you right-click an encrypted file in Windows Explorer, do you get an option to decrypt?

You should. according to the Softpedia page, "Right click to encrypt and decrypt any number of files, regardless of file types."

The company appears to be out of business, and their "billed per use" thing seems odd to me. Do you get charged every time you decrypt a file? If that's the case, and if the company is out of business, you may have lost those files.
