it would be nice to get some feedback from some users about the flow and user-friendliness of the interface and software communications with QB and any issues with cards/banks/payments...Thanks
Also, do the readers require constant wifi or just once in a while and does this cause customer conflicts...will any printer work for receipts?

I have a girlfriend who has a small business and uses square. She has used her card reader on her android phone as well as my iPhone. She was not required to have wifi when using the app, but my service worker far better than hers which allowed for a more seamless transaction while she was connected to my iPhone. It was as simple as putting in your payment amount, swipe your card, sign, then your receipt is e-mailed. I would most certainly use it for small business purposes.

I have an orchid business, and often do shows/events on the road. I have used Square for about 2 months, and I believe the have absolutely AWEFUL customer service. I'm switching to Swipe or one of the others. You cannot CALL Square if you have a problem, you can only email them, then email over and over. They send you a generic email, that has absolutely nothing to do with your issue. I have had multiple problems, and have had to email 20 times for one issue, and then it was not resolved.
This last weekend was Mothers Day, one of the busy weekends for any floal business. The Square reader failed to accept any credit cards, not even 3 of my own, which I knew were good, typically 50% of my sales are credit card, I lost at least $3000 this last weekend as a result.
They have the highest interest rate. Slightly higher, but releasing my headaches with Square and going with a company that has 24 hour telephone customer support. I absolutely don't understand why Square fails "TO GET IT" customer service is the number one obligation of any successful business on the planet.
