Ditto KLanD. Android themed knick-knacks aren't accessories.
All this article does is emphasize the galaxy sized gap between the iPhone and Android devices in terms of accessories.

One more glaring reminder of how Star Wars (George Lucas) perverted the original sci-fi meaning of "android" (i.e. human-like robot, which applied somewhat for C3PO), and how Google, and hangers-on like the vendors listed in this article, perpetuate that twisted meaning.
Why not call them 'bots? More accurate and cute enough for those that need cutesiness. Oh, right, now that is taken to mean malware writ large.
Communicating with constantly morphing language gets so "interesting".

Er?
According to Merriam-Webster, an Android is a robot, usually with a human appearance. (http://www.merriam-w...tionary/android)
In this case both the Android mascot and C3PO still fit within that definition.
