I've just started to have this problem.; actually it's been going on for a long time(see the end of this statement) I'm trying to rip a custom CD from windows media player, and 1 track is giving me fits. On David Crosby's box set, "Voyage" there is a previouly unreleased version of " Guinnevere". Before I rip it, that version plays , no problem.. After the rip is finished, the version from Crosby, Stills and Nash's first CD plays. I deleted all copies of this song, from my hard drive,.and all areas of my PC, except I do have an external hard drive; and I do subscribe to Rhaposody-could this be the source of the problem?
About Rhapsody-At one time, I uploaded "Voyage" from my hard drive. 90 per cent of the content of Rhapsody-there is no charge to listen.. "Voyage" is a rare excepton; and when I did try to play "Guinnevere" from my uploaded version, the origional version, once again played.
Any help would be appreciated.

Now, I understand that you are trying to play a song that differs to an alternate version of Guinnevere :




I also happen to have that album (well part of it, I got the rest through other sources))but, mine was a download from Amazon:

The song in question was available from Amazon as a download so, I think this might not be freely played on Rhapsody.
It might only be available through the original box set.

You also mention that this is a custom CD. Was this from someone or did you put this together yourself?
