I don't see this Consumer Watchdog complaining about Swartzeneger and Pat Brown robbing the 911 treasury of the fees paid by CONSUMERS.

And do they overlook the well established FACT that the 'smart' phones the passengers in these cars carry are just as likely to record every point they visit, and uplink it to the wireless carriers for their own sinister purposes?

In fact, how the heck would Google test their experimental cars, without planning and logging where the cars go?

It's not like they're selling them to the public any time soon. Plenty of time to find out about REAL concerns, like whether the cars will veer onto a sidewalk any more often than humans do.

You have to concentrate your resources on things you a passionate about.

GoOgle is going to do with the data what all of their data gathering software is doing, sell it to marketers, insurance companies and law enforcement for a profit.
