It amazes me the extent that some people go to, to make their computers run HOTTER!!!

My computer has 11 fans & I run all of'em as fast as they can run.

I live in Philippines (90 - 100 degrees everyday) and ALL computers here are custom built. NO off-the-shelf computers here. You're Lucky if you get the OEM CPU cooler, cuz you have to pay EXTRA to get the CPU cooler that comes WITH the CPU that you paid for. IF you get the CPU fan, it's the ONLY fan in the computer. Several times per month, I'm asked to work on fanless, overheated computers. I tell everybody the same thing, "Come back & see me AFTER you buy computer fans"

Around here, in California, I find that setting my 2 case fans to is enough. Why have extra noise when you don't need it? (The Philippines is probably hotter than most places.)
