Each time at startup, desktop icons first appear in good size, but then when all drivers get loaded, they flick and become smaller. Is this just happening to my PC or is it a normal Microsoft O/S feature? Just want to know if it happens to all desktop PC. Thanks

Hi. It sounds like the Graphics are coming up before the drivers are loaded, which would mean you are still on the Microsoft Generic drivers briefly.

Does the size of the taskbar change when that happens?

Hmm... it's probably not a driver issue then. What if you right-click on the desktop, select view, and medium?
