Why Android? Why not the mobil version of Win8? That way you keep the same basic interface.

Obviously there is a benefit in available apps, but I would give users the choice detatch and switch to Android or Win8 Mobil.

I'm in the market for something that's a tablet when I want to consume and a laptop when I want to produce. The Transformer Book looks perfect. Now to decide if I want to hold off on buying the Transformer Infinity when it's released...

There may be practical applications. I'd love my laptop to have a screen on the top so I can whip it out like an ipad, even if heavier. But I'd also like to be replace my phone: use it to call, and connect for internet by placing my sim card in the computer. Then it would be my EVERYTHING. I'm holding out for that.
