Even though the LG OLED TV isnt out, i know if this article updates at the end of the year, it wont be on this list like most people think.

This lack of DVD playback support in Win 8 is being blown way out of proportion. The only real "consequence" of this action is that people will be forced to download the DVD player of their choice, many of them absolutely free of charge. My personal favorite is VLC, and has been for at least 5 years.

The Vita? Really? I thought it was going pretty good, and with E3 it only looks to get better.

Isn't doing an option of Windows Media related to EU lawsuit? Because Microsoft had to relented to EU, it was easier to make it a payable option which does not really affect the DVD. Almost all desktop computer comes with a DVD player and the software to support them. So, what is the issue? On laptop, the only way to make it thin it's to eliminate the DVD player. Which in my opinion you still need a DVD player. I know I do and I still use it almost every day, for installing program, playing games, copying files and many other users. I also use Skydrive, and portable backup hard drive, but sometimes a good DVD is needed.

AS for Vita a flop, then why Sony is pushing new game on the E3? Maybe Sarah wasn't invited to the E3 show. Maybe she is mad about this or doen't know.

AS for Windows Phone Challenge. How is this a flop? Only 1 person beat the challenge, a tech writer, that was ready for the challenge, or should we say cheated. At any school or college what he did is consider cheating. Knowing the question for a test and have the answers ready for it.

Fyi, on slide 10, there's a typo. "prompting observers yo wonder"

I'm REALLY glad SOPA/PIPA didn't pass though. (Now let's just hope CISPA flops as well - I haven't heard anything about that lately.)

Still, they had this right before, so why mess it up? They're just going to piss off a few people that way, and I doubt they'll discount the cost of Windows due to this anyway.

Old timer here, for young chicks with less experience: Don't pay anymore than $1.98 for anything.
Facebook(?) Look what happened to the 3-1/2 Billion Dollar purchase of GeoCities by Yahoo. Where is Geoities now? Look at what happened to Yahoo.

Expect a flop of active 3D TVs in 2013. TV makers go passive by using LG's passive 3D technology. Any of LG's Cinema 3D Smart TV line-up won't make this list ever so my LM6200 is safe.
