You have an article in the May 2012 issue telling about how to setup email filters for Gmail. Problem is, the Einstein who wrote it didn't say anything about modifying a filter. How do I do that???

Excellent way to get a response... it just may not be the response you want. Keep waiting......

Hi, Aubreymh. I didn't write that article, so I guess I'm not Einstein.
Anyway, it's pretty simple. Click the Settings icon near the upper-right corner of the Gmail web page (it looks like a sprocket wheel). From the pull-down menu, select Settings.
With the Settings page up, click the Filters link near the top.
That will bring you to a list of your existing filters. Find the one you want to alter and click the edit link on the right.

Thank you, Lincoln. Gmail's solution is so unintuitive. Maybe they are the "Einsteins". :-)
