The Wii U touchpad controller looks HUGE. I can see it now with my kids dropping one and breaking it because of it's unwieldy size. Not sure this big controller is a positive thing, even if they tried to make it cool by being a touch screen.
There were not tech specifications on the Wii U? How about letting us know how much internal storage it has? How much add-on storage does it support? How many USB ports does it have, and can it play Blu-Ray movies? What about built in wireless AND built in ethernet? What are the wireless specs and does it support 5GHz band? How about graphics and does it support 1080p via HDMI?
And what the heck is with Nintendo and the dam Mario?? ENOUGH Mario already! Produce some 'grown-up' games for crying out loud instead of the kiddy cartoon games!

Mario is a timeless character. Don't slam Mario for being "kiddy." and if you paid attention, the Wii U is going to be home to Arkham City, Assassin's Creed III, and an exclusive zombie-fighting game at launch. Is that not grown-up enough for you? Or would you prefer Mario have more blood and gore, and Zelda have sex scenes? Just because a game is clean, doesn't mean it's for babies. It's called being "family-friendly."

The new touchpad controller is a huge turn-off for me. What Nintendo needs is GAMES - GOOD games. They oould revive sales and interest in the original Wii if only they'd get better 3rd party games. I think the Wii-U is going to be a flop and could spell the end of Nintendo as a player in the home console arena.

Yeah im not excited about the WiiU cus I already own a Wii U its called the Nintendo DS or 3DS. Its basically the same thing just bigger with better graphics. I was really disappointed at a few thing during the press conference, one is no price is it 199, 299, 399, or god no 999! who knows with that expensive looking pad device. Second- no SPECS! like what is this thing running on!? love and trust? are they just to ashamed at letting us know its running on mouse power? Third- No release date? only a vague holiday season, well know I know I spend all my $$ on new games for the PS3 or other device since i have no idea when this is being released. Other than these Ill wait till its found in the used game department at Gamestop. The last thing about the games. I was really disappointed that they didnt show a new Zelda for the device! they showed it last year but no mention of it this year, I brought my wii for Zelda specifically and dusted off it again for Zelda:Skyward Sword. There was no mention of it at which was to me at least a big big let down there was a lot of disappointed people to see no New improved Zelda cus SkywardSword was a kiddie installment and the new Zelda looked like it was more mature at least from what I saw LAST YEAR! But guess we will see this holiday season huh..
