For starters I'm the computer administrator and in fact the only account on my computer but for some reason whenever I run Spybot Search and Destroy and try to "fix selected issues" it tells me to try again on an administrative account?

I would uninstall, reboot, re-install SS&D and see if the behaviour is duplicated.

You can also try r-clicking the executable and selecting 'run as administrator'.
