In fixing up a laptop for a client I noticed that the internet on the laptop seemed to be very slow but I know for a fact that it is not my internet. I have two computers, a tablet, a phone, and a tv hooked up to the wifi that all run very fast but for some reason this laptop just runs a bit slow. And its not because I have to much things hooked up to my wifi, even when I turn off everything the internet still seems slow. The thing that is odd though is that I have a full signal and when I do internet speed tests online it seems to be the same speed as my other computers?

What security/firewall software do you have running? Have you tried disabling it, using a different browser, and clearing your cookies and cache?

Thanks guys, I have done both of those and it seems to have helped significantly. I have always used CC cleaner but I noticed that IE was running normally so I did a complete uninstall of Firefox and reinstalled it. Internet seems to be going normal now :) ... I really hate Wifi :/
