I have 2 monitors plugged into my desktop PC (1xVGA, 1xHDMI) and i also wanted to display my main screen (HDMI) on my TV. I got an HDMI splitter and plugged it into my pc with 1 output going to my monitor and the other to the TV. This worked fine until i got a new PC. I can get them both to work together but i have to fiddle around with the cables a lot and it's usually to do with what order they are placed in. This works fine until i turn the TV off and then my HDMI monitor loses signal and the main picture reverts to the VGA monitor. The PC has an Nvidia GeForce 545 with 1xHDMI, 1xVGA and 1xDVI. The HDMI monitor can support 1080p and the tv 1080i. This is the splitter i am using: http://www.amazon.co...ils_o01_s00_i00 - Any suggestions?

You might need a powered HDMI splitter...I am just "stabbing in the dark"...but realize that it will likely cost more. I have a powered HDMI splitter that I use with my HDTV and a projector.
