Hacked On Twitter

I have to be the most Hacked person on Twitter......when I am on it and not getting Hacked. When I get Hacked I just quit all together. Then I decide to re-join twitter.....Boom. Hacked again....etc,etc,etc,etc. I love Twitter. Getting Hacked is driving me Nuts.. :angry:

Okay, seriously, a couple of possibilities come to mind:

  • Yes, you do need a strong password, and you need to change the password after your account has been hacked. In fact, rather than quitting, you should probably contact Twitter and let them recover your account with a new password. (I assume they offer this, although I've not checked whether they do. Most companies do.)
  • Run a few on-demand anti-malware scanners to see if you have any spyware that's reporting your passwords.

Also, keep in mind that you can take the account back via the 'forgot password' link on the login page.
