Hi and welcome to the forums. I hope you enjoy your time here. Don't know how much you will get on health, unless it is PC health though.

Health? Why not, in General Talk you can talk about almost everything so you may try health, Maddox, as long as you don't go into too much detail. Keep the details for your doctor or a specialist.
As to this type 2 diabetes it's no big deal, GoGators. You just need to control your sugar level and it's largely the matter of diet. By the way, did you hear about stevia, such a plant from South America? This sweetener is all the rage now. Some researchers say, though, stevia needs more testing for possible adverse effects on humans.

I avoid things with artifical sweeteners specifically because I'm worried about potential side effects. I'm not a diabetic, so real sugar isn't a problem, but if you are I think it's probably best to simply avoid sugary foods/beverages where possible. (heck, I don't even drink soda!)

Fortunately, touch the wood, I'm not diabetic but one of my relatives has diabetes type 2 and it's not a big problem. I used to drink a lot of fizzy sweet drinks such as Coca-Cola but cut down on it. Now it's mostly juice and bottled water. And unflavoured yoghurt. And I must say I feel better.
Meet Tomasz Knapik, aged 75. When you hear his voice you'll know why subtitles and dubbing are not so much popular in Poland. You can hear the man, too, in car navigations in Poland.
