Ios 6 Already Gets Jailbreak Treatment, Not Ready For Public Beta Just Yet

This isn't all correct; Cydia is not used to jailbreak the iDevice faster, it just makes it easier to install jailbreak apps and tweaks. The jailbreak is completely independent of Cydia.
Furthermore, a jailbroken 3GS already has full GPS capabilities; you only lost them if you updated the baseband to the iPad 06.15 baseband in order to achieve an unlock with Ultrasn0w. Also, the GPS capabilities are not being restored to these phones by the new Maps app in iOS6, they are being restored by MuscleNerd working hard to bypass Apple's checks that prevent you downgrading the baseband so that users can downgrade to a previous 3GS baseband with working GPS, which will then allow them to make full use of Maps in iOS6, or even in iOS4 or 5 if they so wished.

Or you could just not buy an iphone and not worry about jail breaking your phone as much.
