Recently I needed to burn a TV show to DVD. The file was 4.8 Gig, so I had to use a DL DVD. I expected the DVD Burner to burn the 1st "layer", then switch to the 2nd. 'layer'. Imagine my surprize when the DVD was finished burning & only half the disk surface area had data recorded on it. That tells me that DL DVD's are not actually DL. They are simply Double(ish) Density.
Any thoughts? Anybody?
