I am glad to see the continued evolution of Firefox and how Firefox is beginning to take control over plug-ins. Plug-ins probably cause more crashes, security holes, and performance problems with Firefox than the browser itself.

For example, the latest version of Adobe Flash, 11.3.300.257, is currently causing frequent crashes in Firefox, even after the Firefox 13.0.1 update. In addition, it causes some videos to pause for several seconds when putting them in full-screen mode and then returning them to normal size. Disabling Flash's new sandboxing mode does not help, unfortunately. Maybe Mozilla needs to take control of Flash as Google has done with Chrome, and integrate it with the browser. Therefore, Mozilla will be able to test and approve a new version of Flash before it is allowed to cause problems with Firefox.

In addition, integrating a PDF viewer in Firefox should hopefully improve the performance and security of reading PDFs in the browser. In addition, it will relieve the user the burden of having to install a third-party PDF reader.

Furthermore, having URL Auto-Complete will speed up entering Web addresses in the browser. I remember this feature being present in older versions of Firefox. I wonder why it was removed in the first place? Also, it would be nice if Firefox would prefetch Web pages as they are being typed in the address bar, as Google Chrome does now. This will make Firefox seem like a snappier browser.
