I have a PC /w XP OS and want to buy an updated PC /w Win 7 OS. All my programs are 32 bit. Will 32 bit programs run on 64 bit Win 7? Some people say NO. Some say MAYBE. Does anyone have any experience? Thanks very much -- Jeremy1000

Of course! In fact, most programs nowadays are 32-bit, even though most new PCs have 64-bit OSes. A 64-bit OS can run 32-bit and 64-bit programs, but needs 64-bit drivers. A 32-bit OS can run 16-bit and 32-bit programs, but needs 32-bit drivers.
