I don't see how you can say a $200 iPad would provide a challenge for Kindle Fire. To be a challenge would mean the Kinda Fire has the advantage and since the iPad has outsold the Kindle Fire costing twice the cost, it would be logical that a $200 iPad would outsell even a $150 Kindle Fire. Kindle Fire is popular only because it's half the cost of the iPad and no other reason. If it had cost $400, almost no one would own it.

No, the issue is how many iPad sales were lost to the KF due to its $200 price tag.

wait i thought thanks to some retarded firms that priced the cost of making the kindle fire parts over $200 made this unprofitable... and people believed that...

knock off a $100 on the thing and maybe well talk. IMO it isn't worth more than that.

More than the ipad, i think it was android tabs which were affected more by the fire, and so they need to worry about the upgraded fire competing with the upcoming nexus tab. Now that will be a battle to watch out for.
