Um, in androig maps you can actually go in to settings and ask it to cache Maps for you from there [choose it in either the add-ons area or settings] and then tap the area of the map you want downloaded and cached to your device, and Bam you have a local cached copy with built in Google Maps without anyother apps and it caches Google Maps so anywhere Google Maps covers you can cache without waiting on some 3rd party to download that same info and dress it up for their pay for something you can do for free anyways app.
