These "30 Days With..." series are fantastic and very insightful. As far as the cloud, until web access is ubiquitous, it will remain Plan B.
My rig:
Commodore 64 with Modem cartridge. Tape drive. Zork. OKI thermal printer. 13 inch RCA color TV with tuning knob busted off. Atari 2600 joystick, and a list of all the best BBS numbers.

My observations, exactly. The cloud has apparently changed very little since I first tried it -- except the increased "hype" about it...

i don't think that items 1 & 2 are legit complaints. it's the cloud. the requirement to use the cloud is an internet connection. it makes no sense to complain to your cloud-based service provider that you do not have an internet connection, nor does it make sense to complain about your upload speed. that can only be addressed by your internet service provider.

This 30 days with the cloud is informative, however it has taken you a few months to get the 30 days done. When you had 30 days with Ubuntu, there was 1 post a day for 30 days, which was superb for reading each day. But not it has gone down hill, please with your next one, do it over 30 days, 1 per day.
Suggestion for your next 30 days would be 30 days with Android, such as with the tablets and smartphones.
