Bing maps have been around so there hat has been in the ring for a while now. Having offline content is an evolution of maps nothing more.

This is really cool. But I am wondering, why is there an add for meeting black men and women up above??

It's not really an evolution either. Nokia has been offering both online and offline maps since at least 2007. As of 2009, Nokia Maps offline/online turn by turn navigation was also free of charge for the lifetime of my Nokia phone. So this is not an evolution...more precisely, it's a preexisting condition for Nokia consumers.

Actually it is a big deal - Nokia owns NavTek so think Garmin GPS which uses NacTek for their mapping engine then you will start to see how big this is!
