With so many different online storage services users content is spread all over the internet in these different silos. Even if you like one service your friends and colleagues might share files from a different service so you will endup with files on more than a few services. Primadesk (www.primadesk.com) is addressing this issue by giving users "virtual" view of all their files from a single dashboard and give them a way to manage those files. You can drag and drop files and folders from your computer to any online service or between online services.

I currently use SugarSync for most of my cloud storage and backup. I can right-click to upload and share and choose any local folder to sync. In fact apart from the Automatic OCR I can do all of the above with SugarSync. However, I wish Microsoft and Google would sort out their very basic cloud storage offering which are currently very DropBox like. At the moment I find myself using several services because each one connects to only certain services and offers certain features. I use a lot of Microsoft services, have a Google Android phone and use several operating systems in different locations. As it is it’s a real nightmare keeping my data together as so much doesn’t play nicely with the other.
