If they come with the horrible, terrible and irritating chiclet keyboards then they can just throw them in the garbage right now.

Unless you have their support package never, ever buy a Dell.

I went to the dell web site to check these out. They are actually a downgrade in many ways from what Dell had been selling in this category previously. They are downgrades, because very few aspects of the device can be customized during the customization process. For example: Dell provides only a slow 5600rpm 1TB hard drive; It only has a 16x9 aspect ratio, not a 16x10 aspect ratio, which is much better for any computer and enabling a 1920x1200 resolution (which is what I am using on a laptop as I type this; there is NO option for Win7 ultimate (only Home Premium); The specs don't spell out audio chip support (I need an ASIO capable audio chip to use Adobe Audition, Cubase, and Avid Sibelius); There isn't any blu-ray burner option, for making 50GB backup discs; they battery cannot be replaced; the nVidia chip only goes to the mid-rage 640, not the NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 in and Apple Macbook Pro retina. The top of the line nVidia mobile chip is the GTX-680M.

Isn't it ironic that the best Windows 15in high end laptop at the moment is the Apple Macbook Pro Retina 15in, dual booting Windows via bootcamp, with a fully loaded configuration at just under $4,000.00.

Really? You're comparing an ultrabook (-wannabe) with MacBook **Pro**?
What's next? calculator vs. cell phone?
