B - There Are Extensions ( Extras For Browsers, For Instance ).
It Is Possible To Have ( B ) --> Inside ( A ).
CHROME Uses --> '*.CRX'.
FF Uses --> '*.XPI' And Others.
OPERA Uses --> '*.OEX'.
It Is Possible To Install ( B ) Online Directly From The Browser Site, Or, Install The Equivalent File ( A ) Offline From Your Hard Drive.

App is actually short for Application.A mobile app however better fits the above discription
