Hello! I recently built a new system (first build) and I have everything running fine, except for a few things.
I have a Gigabyte Z77-D3H motherboard, a Core i5 3550, and a MSI Twin Frozr II GTX 570.
This may be a noob question, but I have searched on the internet for an answer and have not found it.
So here it is: My motherboard's VGA plug does not work. The Intel VGA HD Graphics driver will not install, as it says "Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements to install this software."
How can I fix this? It is a matter with the motherboard? Do I really need the HD Graphics as I already have the GTX?

Since you have a dedicated graphics card, you should disable the onboard graphics in the BIOS.

The short answer is that you should not need the HD Graphics since you have a dedicated graphics card (the GTX). Thus, as LiveBrianD says, you should make sure the Intel HD graphics are turned of in the BIOS/EFI.

Hi and welcome to the forums. The short answer is when you installed the dedicated card ( GTX 570) you autiomatically disabled the integrated graphics. All is good and no problem.

If you have a discreet graphics card installed you will not be able to access the motherboard's onboard graphics ports.
I've made this mistake plenty of times when moving PC's around, often plugging the monitor into the motherboard's onboard, rather then the graphics card,s port.
