One of the biggest annoyances on the entire internet. I hate websites like this, how do they remain in operation? I avoid them like the plague.

I've run into this icon problem occasionally, but only since using Windows 7 RC. I vaguely remember going through a couple of "fixes", but what works everytime these days is to simply boot into Safe Mode - then normal boot, and everything is OK. I don't know why; but it works.

One of my friends inadvertantly installed some BAD software instead of a very reputable antivirus program, all because the site linked to a mainstream download site featuring deceptive ads.
