The cheapest apple laptop (MacbookAir 11-inch, 64GB Storage, 4GB RAM) is $999.
Great buy for those who have more money than sense!

Commenting pointless hate like the other billion sheeplike anti-apple windows fanboys.
Great waste of a life for those who have more time than money.

Waiting for new iMacs, personally. I'm hoping there'll be a 21.5" model with a 2160p resolution.

Who would have guessed Patchogue would be ahead of the curve on this :-) when I built my home on the south shore here 17 years ago. LOL

Compared to an Asus Zenbook (about the closest equivalent that I could find), the price is pretty comparable based purely on specs. Of course, the real choice between the two is which OS you would want to run. That said, you could have the best of both worlds by simply installing Win7 on the Macbook Air in addition to OS-X.

I think you just don't know what Mac OS X can do. Believe me, once you do, you'll realize how much of a piece of garbage Windows really is. And paying even ANYTHING for it makes no sense.

:) It's not about what Mac OS X can do. It's about what you can do with that.

Value includes more than price. You cannot tell other people what to value.

I'm primarily a Windows 7 user, but am forced to use Mac OSX daily at work. Please tell me what Mac OS can do over Windows?

make you poor, give you a false sense of security, make you think youre getting a better product for your money, force you to take them to court in order to get them to take responsibility for selling you a crappy product. Do I need to go on. I will say this though I'd do it all over again,if for no other reason than the letter of apology I asked for and got that when the time is right I'll offer on ebay. Hand written and fully authenticated. Can't wait to see what the "cult " will pay just for the oportunity to burn it. I promise you it wont come cheap , hell I might even sell copies. Maybe I'll sign and number them and sell them as art.
