There would be a higher rate of adoption if the handset manufacturers would quit dragging their feet. I love Android but this is ridiculous.

Now if only manufacturers and carriers would quit wasting time adding in bloatware, screwing up the UI, dragging their feet, etc, causing them to take far longer than necessary to release the updates...

I can just see the byline:

"Android mascot succumbs to decapitating bout of flatulence after designers inadvertently fill it with brightly colored kidney beans instead of jelly beans. Vent hole less design to be rectified shortly. The mascot will sound an audible low frequency warning signal in the event of pressure release to atmosphere."
