I have Kaspersky Anti-Virus installed which runs automatically. I also use SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition and do a scan about once a week. I've noticed that when I do a scan with SuperAntiSpyware and go to remove the threats only a certain number are totally removed. For example, the last scan detected: 95 threats but only: 36 where completely removed.

How can I completely remove the other: 59 threats that were found?

Maybe they are not being totally removed because I use the FREE EDITION.

Thanks for any help and advice.

Hey Vinster !

What you and SaS call threats , could these be only cookies found on your HDD or are they Really infected files???

IF you want to remove cookies before you scan with either of your scanners then, I would suggest you First, scan
with CCleaner (the Broom Option ONLY) and then, with this little known program "FlashCookiesCleaner"
Download here. Right click and "run as administrator". No install needed.

Once those scans are done, scan with SaS and see what comes up. IF you get anything at all, please post the LOGS
of that scan.

Are you happy with the performance of Kaspersky?

Another option: Tell SAS to ignore cookies, which can be better handled elsewhere. On the main screen, press the Preferences button. Click the Scanning Control tab, and uncheck Scan for tracking cookies.

I would advise against this procedure. As good as the programs I mentioned are,
they may still not be as thorough as SaS is when removing cookies.

First of all, i will suggest you not to install more than one security program in your computer as it reduces the efficiency of computer. Yes you are right, this is happening because you are using free version of Antivirus program. Better go for only one. Microsoft Security Essentials is a good security program also if you want you can go for Kaspersky Antivirus as well. Both are nice but has to be full version.
