I have to say they seem to think everyone is a CEO or professional who takes the survey. Many questions were more relevant for them then a consumer. I almost gave up myself.

Every time I have taken a survey or been asked to subscribe to a "free" magazine, they have always seemed to gear it towards the higher end. And in reality, I think everyone filling these in just puts a lot of fluff in there. When I get a call I just say all the wrong things. No I don't make the decisions. No, I am not asked my opinion. I have no budget. I don't intend to buy anything. I'm the janitor. When they ask who makes the decisions, I say I don't know, I just clean the toilets. :-)

I am amazed how often people call to sell just about anything. Ink, paper goods, tech services, janitorial services and the list is endless. And everyone from CIO to the Redbook wants to give us a magazine. Enough already. Enough with the surveys, enough the magazines and enough with the phone calls.

This is very confusing - a lot of the questions aren't even remotely relevant to me. I gave up on this very quickly.

I stopped after the first question, thinking to myself, "What are the chances of me winning this? And if I do win, what am I going to do with the iPad? Sell it for a Galaxy SIII or Galaxy Nexus? Maybe an Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime? Eh. Not worth half an hour of my time."
