Shouldn't passwords be encrypted such that no one can "read" them? After all, how many people use the same password for everything? I think it is a very bad idea for any IT person to be able to go in and view a password.

Could've easily been prevented by forcing password change after first logon.

Author, what on earth is KPN?
From the "This is KPN" page (http://www.kpn.com/c...this-is-kpn.htm):
KPN is the leading telecommunications and IT service provider in The Netherlands, offering wireline and wireless telephony, internet and TV to consumers. KPN offers business customers complete telecommunications and IT solutions. KPN Corporate Market (previously known as Getronics) offers global IT services and is the Benelux market leader in the area of infrastructure and network related IT solutions.
So, lots of Marketingspeak and lots of solutions. Sounds soggy.
