AVG2012 was reviewed as the best Virus Blocker out there. That may well be true, however it was written so that popups come on your screen to tell you what a great job it's doing. This does not work well with games that you could be killed in if you cannot see the screen. After that annoyance trying to uninstall is impossible at least for me. I had to go in and remove it by deleteing the program from my hard drive by hand after doing the uninstal 4 times with no luck. Extremely poorly written and should not be used if you play games that you need to see the screen at all times.

Hey ToppKatt!

Welcome to PCWorld Community!

IF you don't mind, I would like to recommend you use one of these uninstall tools for AVG or any of the Major security software providers.

In the list , you will find uninstall tools for all major players. These tools are from the software creators but, are sometimes hard to track
down on their sites.

Please use the appropriate tool : 32 or 64 bit.

I would recommend you use this tool to make sure you didn't miss any entry.
