Well, duh! Instead of fearing VOIP, embrace it. Data-only plans with unlimited data and with nationwide coverage are needed. Someone needs to price it out and start selling it.

Vonage Mobile App for iPhone and Android devices provides free app-2-app calls and great savings on international calls.

They left out Google's services, which let you chat, video chat, or even call phones for free!

Mobile to any mobile of the big guys make this moot. Keeping in mind that smaller regional providers don't have this.

The vonage mobile app works really well over 3g and 4g.

Free services for voice call and other means of communication are really coming, maybe company that want to charge for their services must give extra features. Like clearer video call and etc.
