The first generation iPad continues to have way more uses than just relegating it to being an eReader only. All the apps you got for it when it came out are still usable. And web surfing continues to work great.Furthermore, I recently sold a first generation iPad, and with the money I got for it, I could buy three eReaders. Or I could just buy one and have a bunch of money left over. The point is, a first generation iPad is worth more than just being an eReader.
