Next Up For Ultrabook Laptops: 3d Displays, Sensors, And Hd Screens

They are becoming more and more like expensive toys. So much for real productivity and content creation by the masses in office settings.

All interesting, of course - but the compelling features will be related to more adding capability while extending battery life.
Personally, 3D does nothing for me and I wouldn't pay a dime extra for it. And touchscreen would have to prove its value on a laptop for me to get excited about that - right now, I'll admit that I don't see the application.
But I'd love a laptop that (unlike what I'm typing on right now) would last a long full workday on one charge. And add better displays - which really DO make a difference when you stare at them all day, often in less-than-ideal situations - and all at a reasonable price, of course - and I'd bite!
But it's always hard to think much beyond what the current paradigm is - you always think of what you have, only better. New paradigms may shift what I expect out of a travel machine.
